eSun’s popular 1.75mm PLA+, in a “add-your-own-spool” package.
(you need to have or print a spool to use this)
• Like regular PLA, plus. It’s better!
• Elongation at break is 29%. Regular PLA is 5%. That means it was tested to stretch 29% before finally failing.
• Izod impact Strength (receiving a sharp blow): PLA+ absorbs 7KJ/m2, where regular PLA is only 4.2KJ/M2
• Refill rolls come without a spool but are wrapped for easy replacement on an empty eSUN split-spool. No? You can 3D print one…
- Split your spool by unscrewing the 2 metric bolts with a 5mm hex key.
- Unbag (DON’T CUT THE STRAPS) the replacement spool
- Insert the spool (cardboard sleeve and all) onto one of the half-spools
- Re-assemble the spool
- NOW CUT the straps. All good to go!
